And they spoke to the Oakhurst Neighborhood Association at its September 2012 meeting:

Yet, it appears that the Decatur Preservation Alliance and all other parties declined to get involved in the effort to prevent another home from being sent to a landfill and in October 2012 the home was demolished. Its replacement? A┬ánew “High-end 5br/3.5ba” home.
